OT: RU switches back to Coca Cola

I wonder if it forces the team to go to Powerade. I doubt it, there are so many Coke schools across the country but how many times do you see Powerade on the sideline? Plus, under the student section there is about a lifetime supply of Gatorade products for any athlete I don't know what they would do with those

A small note to ALL: For your better Health and Longevity STOP drinking ANY kind or brand of soda. Sugar free or other. You will thank me down the line.

Really? I don't drink soda but i would think that most people know that drinking gallons of liquid sugar is bad for them. They must alao know that there are studies that show that diet soda might even be worse for their health.

People should be allowed to kill themselves however they want.

Always Coca-Cola!

And let's not forget about the dangers of Dihydrogen Monoxide (DHMO) - everybody should be aware of drinking too much of this toxic substance.

Agreed. Pepsi MAX is pretty good too.

As far as non-colas, I actually prefer diet Mountain Dew over regular. It's a weird drink... It actually has trace amounts of real orange juice in it.

Diet mountain Dew is great for surface rust. If you have any items covered in rust, put in the sink along with a 2 liter of diet mountain dew, and the rust will be gone in two hours

Now if we can just get Habana Club to partner with Coke as the official rum we will be getting some where.

Denny McLain used to drink a case of Pepsi every day. He's still around at 72.It all depends on the individual.

I still have the ALWAYS SCARLET KNIGHTS,ALWAYS COCA-COLA cups.

In his case, if you were to stop drinking a case a day he would drop dead.

My grandfather used to eat deep fried chicken (fired in a cast Iron skillet with lard of course) everyday for breakfast and he also smoked. He died before I was born but he was born in the late 1800's! in lived well into his 100's.

My family history is so weird, people either lived over 100 years (many do) or die too young of a heart attack or cancer. So I will either live long enough to see Rutgers win a National Championship or die a horrible death right before it happens.

You made a valid point.Every one's
genetic make up is different.Truth of the matter is that everyone is free to do whatever you want with your body.Your call. Your consequences.

It all depends on whose genes you inherited. Why not hedge your bet and split the difference. It doesn't have to be all or nothing.

Wait. How old were your parents when you were born?

it's all marketing. In R MBA Consumer Marketing Class the Professor, once a semester, has all 25-30 student try 5 colas including Coke, Pepsi, and RC Cola. A good portion csan guess what cup is the RC-but typically only 1 per person per class can distinguish the Pepsi from Coke. Held true for our class.

What kind of test did you perform to determine if the class could distinguish between different brands? Was it a triangle test?

No, it's not. Pepsi and Coke taste very different.

Maybe he held that class during cold and allergy season.

Pepsi beats Coke hands down every day.
No , it's not. Pepsi and Coke taste very different .
Coke beats Pepsi hands down every day. Pepsi is a bad
imitation of Coke.

Was thinking same thing. How could his grandfather be over 100 years old before he was even born? Even if he meant to say great grandfather this would barely make sense.

Reminds of this great All in the Family episode. Fast forward to the 9:55 mark...

Mike I think R class looked just like that "meathead". "All in the Family?-I think we left you at that Sayerville fireworks concert with my broken tailgating chair...

You disagree? Last year after a sixpack or so you and your brother couldn't distinguish between the 98-100 score ales I purchased and Bud.

Peace and Love,
CP

Athletics will continue to use Gatorade/Pepsi products separate from University vending and food service contract.

Well, I guess I could see that happening on second thought. My daughter's friend was born when her father was 70. So I guess by the time she has kids it could be the same situation. She's 20 now.

I prefer coke over Pepsi, but rarely drink cola. When I drink soda it's Mountain Dew. Also like the Pepsi iced tea product better so this is a shame.

...An incredible team. Such an emotional run (philly in 8+ inches of snow plus most incredible home game ever). I tripped onto the floor running onto the court and you could see me on the next years pocket schedule. I got so sick after that game I was still on the couch during thec 1st round loss to BJ Armstrong and Iowa.

This actually impacts the team. Gatorade is a Pepsi product, so along with the new drink flavors, they'll be switching out all their coolers and water bottles to Powerade.

Seperate sideline deal. Gatorade deal runs through next school year
