SHU up 11 end of 1st half. SHU played their best half of the year and shot better than usual from 3. Myles powell is damn good. My question is, what reason would he come back his senior year? What more does he have to prove. It’s either hes an nba player or not after this year. Kid can shoot

Probably right that there’s no reason for him to stay. But he’s a shooting guard in a SMALL point guard’s body. Not too many 6-1 SGs in the NBA.

Maybe he just likes being in college and playing basketball ?

Maybe a college degree is important to him ?

Who knows ?

Have to believe The Hall punched their ticket today.

They punched their ticket a while back. Marquette sealed the deal, today was icing on top. The bubble is historically weak

Sadly we actually had a chance at being a bubble team if we took care of our business and won two in the tourney. Absolutely pathetic of our players that they weren't ready for PSU and they should feel pathetic because they have accomplished nothing. Making us watch that BS. We should've beat PSU by 20.

Was at the game

Hall played intense defense and overcame McKnights early foul trouble .

Powell hit a few long bombs from way out which gave his teammates room and good looks the rest of the game, Cale and Rhoden hit huge 3s

Mamu played great too.

Nova was frustrated, especially Booth.
Funny to see Wright lose it in the 2nd half

Big crowd of 16k+, mostly Hall fans.
Crowd was much louder today than it was when RU was there.

SHU punched their ticket today.

We all knew you were at the game already no need to state the obvious

Ash, I think you are better than that. Our guys have improved a lot this season. We are still trending up.

This guy is manic

Before last year, Ash was great

Now, must be the most critical poster of all things RU

We can trend up all we want. We had one game to show up for and we put up the worst game of the year. Again, we should have beat PSU by 20. Absolutely no excuse for that abortion of a game.

Wrong

Shit happens. That’s why better teams lose on occasion.

He’s a historically brutal poster best ignored.
Doesn't change the pathetic effort put forth by our team vs psu..may as well have not shown up. Especially Baker. And besides Fordham, it was the only time I was disgusted with our team.

Do you follow the big ten? Serious question. Psu is arguably the hottest team in the league. Really bad take by you.

Dude lol. Im actually laughing right now. You do realize that we return everyone and our freshman have grown leaps and bounds since game 1 right?

And again, we should have won by twenty. IDC how good they were..we were better and we had home court. How could anyone watch that game and be anything other than disgusted? We came back..big whoop. We never should've let them lead in the first place. And as good as PSU HAS been, they were nowhere near that good in this game vs us.

Powell is one of the reasons you root for college hoops and college sports in general. He was under recruited because of his weight and he totally transformed himself to become a great player who will make money somewhere. I feel the same way about Doorson here. Guy was hurt, written off a bunch of times, but just kept working. He totally transformed his body and played a huge role this year. If you ever met him, he’s an even better person.

Bro youre an absolute clown saying we shouldve won by 20. Go ahead and say we shouldve won, okay. But its pathetic we didnt win by 20!?!? GTFO

Uhhh wutttttt. Hahahaha.
There were 13 possessions in a row in the first half that ended in a turnover. I'm not sure what you watched but I watched a PSU team that was mediocre at best that evening beat an RU team that played far below that level on that particular night.

Seton Hall is a lock. Temple beat UCF and Georgetown beat Marquette today. The bubble may be getting smaller.

Sure we started shitty, ok, got it captain obvious. To say we shouldve won by 20 is ABSURD. Lets take a look at the facts so we can laugh.

- PSU is 6-3 in their last 9 games.
- PSU’s 3 losses came @wiscy, @purdue, @ohio state
- PSU’s 6 wins came against the likes of beating michigan from start to finish and blowing out maryland. Two teams projected to be 3 and 4 seeds in the ncaa tourney.

But yeahhhh uhhhhhh we shouldve won by 20? Dont be a fool

Someone loves being literal. Fine..we should have won by ten. Make you feel better? My point is we should've won by a comfortable margin had we played in the first half like we did in the second and it's the players fault for being full of themselves going into this game in front of a sold out home crowd. What a way to treat the fans that show up..with minimal effort. Did our players even bother going for an offensive board in the first half? Cause they were just standing there watching. I mean it's sad to me that you're trying to defend them.

I’m someone who generally enjoys yours and Kyks post because of the honesty but I just can’t get on board. I was as disappointed as anyone with our first half. I didn’t post in the prediction thread but talked my dad before game and said we have too much hype right now. We’re real young and PSU is playing well, we will be down early. I didn’t expect it to be that bad though. But 2nd half really said something to me at least.

I bet you these young kids never take a game for granted again. Might not always translate into wins but a good lesson.

I think it's a great learning opportunity and I think we can rebound extremely strong from it. However, I still can't support them when they play like that. I'm done watching Eddie Jordan basketball and that was the equivalent of what I watched in that first half. That was the worst half I've seen all year and to me it's inexcusable and simply causes me to rage and I can't help but feel that way. I love our guys to death but... Id rather pull my fingernails out than watch that half again. I want this game to agonize them..i want it to hurt dearly because that's the only way it can matter and make a difference going forward.

I get it. And I felt like that for a bit during the first half. But I also have to look at the totality of the season. I didnt think we should have been a top 15 team after the way we played against Iowa, and I don’t think we are an Eddie Jordan team after that first half. If there is one game that still makes me sick, it’s the Fordham game.

I will say I’m not as shocked as some that we are good. If you saw my posting when Sanders left I said, given the length and amount of games on basketball, I thought our freshman would really step up and we would see much better team ball
