OT: Songs where the remake by the same artist was better than the original.

Songs in the Attic is great. I feel like most of the versions on there are better. She's Got a Way, Streetlife Serenader, Say Goodbye to Hollywood also all better in my opinion.
Captain Jack too. Songs in the Attic was the high water mark for Billy Joel IMO.

Springsteen's "Ghost of Tom Joad". Original version was acoustic, on the album of the same name (circa '95). Later version was amped up more, and added Tom Morello of "Rage Against the Machine", and takes on a much angrier tone, reminiscent of "Darkness on the Edge of Town". The dueling guitars between Bruce and Tom in the middle alone is worth viewing, but then Tom does a two minute plus rift starting around 6:28 until the end, which is outstanding.

Interesting side note: Steve Van Zandt and Patti appear alongside Tom during his spotlight moment, playing acoustic guitars (Steve may have had a mandolin), as if you can even hear them.

Nothing beats Pulse by Pink Floyd when it comes to live albums.

Pink Floyd is one of my favorite bands. They might be my favorite. Comfortably Numb and Echoes are among my favorite all-time tunes.
But without Roger Waters it's really just the David Gilmour Band.....not that that's a bad thing. He's one of my favorite guitarists. But it's NOT Pink Floyd.

Now THAT'S what I'm talking about. Awesome. Thanks.
