Appears to have PLENTY of close parking without a priority point system. Well planned for now and into the future. When I was in HS down at Cypress Creek HS in Houston, we had a double decker cement stadium which seated 11K. Here's a shot of it:
Football is different there. You are correct as most of the massive stadiums are used by multiple schools. There are a few that house a few schools.I do a ton of work in TX for my job and it is not like just one HS plays at that field (i/e Piscataway HS only plays at their home stadium). McKinney, TX probably has like 6 high schools in their Independent School District (ISD), where they all play there.
HS FB is not set up the same as it is in NJ.. Texas only has I think 5 or 6 state champs vs. NJ's 24 state champs.... go figure.

Texas is unique playoff systems. There are 6 classifications. However they crown 12 state champions. Each section has a classification champion. So all the 5a section champions are grouped together. They are then divided into two division based on size. The largest half are division 1 and the smaller are division 2. So in the end you have 5a division 1, 5a division 2 ect champions. 1a schools actually play six man football. It is not based on geography like jersey. I think Jersey has the most rediculous system.
PA just expanded classes to add a 5 classification and people were claiming the same thing here. In PA there are 576 high school football teams in the PIAA. I think 5 classifications is fine.I might be slightly off with the playoff calibrations but I knew it made a helluva lot more sense than how NJ does it. North Carolina only has 5 or 6 state champs too, so does California.
Everyone's a winner in Jersey
I'll bet they still have beautiful practice fields at each school to use. Texas Football is a top priority so probably easier to find the funds associated with it. They probably only use football's for a season and then buy new ones. OK, if they donate the old to New Mexico or Mexico.Hahaha, they're spending more money on the football stadium than on the school!
