Grit is entertaining. So is good physical play. Who is touting the skills competition? Take your (faux) hated and violence and go watch old Hulk Hogan and Jesse Ventura matches.
Will any of those current Canadian guys make the USA team after we make them a state or two?
A little sideways topic (skating) but last week a US woman won world championship in figure skating and she was legit amazing - first US woman to win world title in 19 years. This was first time I ever saw an audience give a standing ovation for a skater.

True - there were some suggestions that US skating might circle the drain after the crash but now there are two legit gold hopefuls. Ilia Malinin's parents were Olympians for Russia and he might be one of the best ever. Alysa Liu has a lot of Charisma and its been a long time since a US Winter Olympian had that sort of talent and personality
