A caution to RU fans in this thread. Consider not tempting the fates on the UCONN situation - this issue and in general. But for the grace of God goes Rutgers as UCONN has. Mocking them looks bad in more than one way.
Wow. Had to actually verify that. Thought that was a decent win for us at the time. And they beat them by 10. We barely eked out a 1-point win.
And they're already in danger of losing Mora. Heard Colorado is potentially looking at him.

Isn't he literally the definition of "hiring for recruiting" and worry about actual coaching of the current team later.
Any hire where the first question is "ok but depends on his OC" is on a fast track to not working out.
Now Hafley's on his second OC (a doomed hire if I ever saw one but I wasn't consulted) and he's scrambling to not have the worst offense in the country.

We play their schedule and we are 8-2. And all of a sudden our offense would be pretty good and we would have the top D in the nation.
They play ours and they are 2-7 and their average score of games would be somewhere in the -25-30 range
The Uni reveal for UConn is actually pretty damn funny and cool.
If I am UConn and with an obvious hard time to do a reveal that compares to the others that are out there- why try? The fact that someone said - "Let's not try to compete and let's do something that will be funny as hell instead" That is brilliant.

I already showed that they would quite possibly have the same 4 wins we have if they had the same schedule; there is even a common win, Boston College, in there. Also, Massey has UConn ranked 103 and us ranked 91, not exactly a huge difference. And in any event, when you're ranked 91 you shouldn't be putting anyone else down, to say the least. It looks ridiculous. You shouldn't be doing it anyway, but it's especially ludicrous when your own team has such a dismal rating.
They certainly look like a better team than we are. And better coached.
Fun Fact- UConn's OC, Nick Charlton, was Joe Harasymiak's DC when he was head coach at Maine in 2018.
