Same here!!!My buddy and I play at pebble creek in colts neck. Our threshold is mid thirties, no wind, sun out.
Indoor simulator. BYOB a plus. Must be a great business based on crowds, but you definitely need serious cash to buy the latest and greatest tech.????
Simulator, net, outdoor heated?
I have a half finished basement. I currently hit plastic and real golf balls into a golf net, but I am thinking about taking the plunge and purchasing a golf simulator. I have an eight foot drop ceiling in my basement but the actual ceiling is 10 foot high. I meeting with my contractor tomorrow to see the best way to raise the height of the drop ceilling in a cost effective manner. I then have to figure out the best forms of launch monitors, video cameras and screen enclosure within my budget.
I can't tell you how many times I hit the ceiling on a swing follow through despite my best efforts not to.The simulators today are insane.
As tech illiterate as I am, I could never do it justice by buying it.
A net with a good mat and ceiling height is all I need. (And don’t have)
Sweet! I don't think I can sell my wife on the price tag, though.SIM IN A BOX® Play
Transform your space into a golf haven with the SIM IN A BOX® Play Package. Realistic simulation to elevate your game. Perfect for golf enthusiasts!www.foresightsports.com
If you start putting cost together component by component, you'll end up around the same price, if not significantly more.Sweet! I don't think I can sell my wife on the price tag, though.
I recently searched amazon for a small spotlight to highlight top of a Christmas tree. Results mostly came in the form of "disco ball spotlight".. but so many of the reviews were for golf simulator use. And, knowing tech a bit, I can suggest there has never been a better time to go DIY it... but the right space, of course, is the main issue.Indoor simulator. BYOB a plus. Me also.I can't tell you how many times I hit the ceiling on a swing follow through despite my best efforts not to.

at $4 for a Pro V1, that gets rather expensive.Into the ocean like Kramer would.
It was part of your club and a stand alone private before that. The views of the city skyline on that hole is spectacular too. I just joined an indoor golf place. Very good deal and the technology is crazy. It even gives you uneven lies. It’s great for a public golf course.
The 3rd hole is one of the great par 3s in the entire state.
That’s 200 carry from the tips
Oh- so many bad replies jumped out at me…
Well, being that I am 103 years old, I am trying to spend all my money before I drop. The more I drive into the ocean, the less money there is for my family to fight over. Doing them a favor.at $4 for a Pro V1, that gets rather expensive.
any o/u on posts before mildone jumps in lolYou and me both. Every time I look at that thread title.

For avid golfers the terms “hitting balls” is the norm.I'm shocked he hasn't chimed in already. This is a soft ball (pun intended) for him.
I feel 20 degrees warmer the second i have a club and a cigar in my handsZap, my buddy wants you to know that 90% of outdoor winter golf is 50% mental
it was more about the entirety of the question...there are other forums on the internet that would not equate the question to golf. lolFor avid golfers the terms “hitting balls” is the norm.
“Are you playing today?
Nope, I’m just gonna hit balls😊
Just an absolute classic episode. You never know when you're going to need a marine biologist in a pinch.Into the ocean like Kramer would.

That’s also hitting a green in regulation buddyPlayed PC for the 1st time in October. Liked it.
Pretty pedestrian round till I sank a 30' Birdie putt on the Par 3 18th.
Yeah, it was only my 5th time out last season. Ball striking and accuracy and were not the words of the day. That’s also hitting a green in regulation buddy
When I was a kid I signed up to caddie there because it was closest to home but ended up at to ECCC when I found out they paid $1 more per round. It’s great for a public golf course.

This is all you need. They regularly go on sale refurbished for $700 on Amazon. Ignore those $10k all in one bundles. Then spend another $150-200 on a mat and net, pick out what software you want. GSpro is the best.Skytrak and Net in my basement.
On a side note, a bunch of years ago I played golf with a boss of mine. His locker was next to yours….his name was Dave W and he lived in West Orange.
You can just buy the Skytrak unit and not their software? It works with any software? I am not familiar with the setup and all the intricacies. Any info you can add would be great, a few buddies and I have been talking about setting something up in one of our garages. Thanks! This is all you need. I have a good net that reruns the ball to my feet…and a range quality mat. Good mat is better on the hands and wrists if you hit a lot of balls. I hit hundreds of balls every day…so it is worth it.This is all you need. They regularly go on sale refurbished for $700 on Amazon. Ignore those $10k all in one bundles.
