OT: Yanks and Mets will both make the playoffs

Both teams are playing too well not to make it.

Would be good to see the Yanks finally make the playoffs.

Last season they lost the play-in game to Houston, and were basically a no-show that night.

Of course Philly has no chance again, their franchise is a joke.

Seattle is in free-fall mode and it looks like (I hope) that KC has run out of gas.

Yankees have a legit chance and are more exciting to watch now more than any time this season. Just need Detroit, Houston, and one of the three top AL East teams to plummet.

I'm still very cautious, as I still don't think the Yankees make it since all three of the top AL East teams are good (despite Yankees going for a sweep today against Blue Jays). I think Yankees are done playing Houston and Detroit so luck will be needed in those two falling out. The chance for the Yankees to win the division is growing stronger each day however.

I actually think this would be cool if the Yankees made the playoffs with the hungry young guys after getting rid of the satisfied, overpriced players. Great future up in the Bronx.
