Overall, I think the Secondary played EXCEPTIONALLY well

Al is correct. Secondary is not something you worry about in the next couple of years. This is how you build, one position group at a time. Check the box next to Defensive Secondary.

Isiah Wharton had a TERRIFIC game in man-man coverage. While he may have benefited by going up against a first year player, he had a number of pass breakups, which looked impressive. Austin might have gotten beat a couple of times, but thats going to happen when you play a team like Ohio State with their athletes. Overall, i thought he was strong too. Kiy Hester was all over the field, and made a number of great hits, especially his open field tackle of Curtis Samuel. He seems to be coming into his own, and will be a great one for us, similar to Courtney Greene and Duron Harmon. Cioffi might have missed some tackles, but overall had a productive game. This secondary is going to develop into one of the best in the B1G in upcoming seasons. Now if we could just find a pass rush....

Did you watch the same game I did?

The real problem on defense. LB'ers we need much more quality.
+1

If your front seven are playing better (pressure, sacks, run stoppage, tackling, etc.) the back four have a much easier job.

Didn't Ohio State pass for four touchdowns and rack up over 300 yards passing? How then can anyone say that the secondary played exceptionally well? What am I missing?
