***PA '16 DL Tymir Oliver has committed to Rutgers***

Welcome Oliver to the RU family !
You have made a wise decision.

From the Todderick Hunt article,

"I already knew it was the time to make the decision," he said. "I just needed my mother's approval, and she felt good about the school."
But what was it about Rutgers that she liked most?
"She liked the academics and she liked how the academic support was in the stadium on the ground level," said Oliver. "She also liked the graduation rate. She saw the graduation rate and she loved that. It was like 94, I believe. Ninety-four percent."

If you are a parent, how could you not want your son to play at RU?

This kid will be massive! Already, 6'4" 260! But, what stands out are those shoulders. He will be able to put on another 30 to 40 pounds of muscle over the next three years and not even feel it.
I hear he is very fast off of the ball, with good strength. Can't wait to see him in Scarlet.
Welcome to the Family/Banks Oliver!

Rutgers should hire one of these recruit's Moms to work on the other parents that we are targeting. Could bring in a few recruits each yea that are on the fence.

Did we have him ranked higher than the Holloway kid from Camden who verbaled to Syracuse last week ?
He certainly is bigger.

Flood is having a helluva recruiting year. Another stud enters the fold.

Edit: Old thread? Still good...

Why was this bumped today when he committed in early August?
1 - Because the news item I posted went online today.
2 - I don't like to create new threads when an existing one already exists.
If you don't like the timing take it up with the publisher.
If you don't like my posting style, sorry, but I'm not going to shot gun new threads on similar topics all over the board.
if reviewing a little nugget of good news welcoming a new member into the family is bothersome to you...well, I can't help you.

LOL. I jumped about the 1st 3 times I saw the Headline then realized it was old news.

That said, it was nice to read the article. Good stuff and greatly appreciated.
