Pacheco on SNF

Several strong runs by Pacheco so far.

Tampa may be in trouble tonight. They showed a shot of Todd Bowles, and he had the WTF smirk that he wore several years as the Jets HC.

Did Logan Ryan get injured? Collinsworth mentioned him leaving the field after a play in the 1st qtr.

Funny - probably real journalist are saying who is Steve Politi and what is a Star Ledger.. ?

Must suck being stuck at a place with no light at the end of the tunnel... Anyway

But to Politi's point, did it hurt that Pacheco went to Rutgers? I don't think it hurt Ray, Brian, The McCourney brothers, Logan Ryan, Zutta, Davis, etc. What probably didn't help was the poor O-Line play in the last few years and not developing a QB.

He did look good. Have had him stashed on my fantasy roster but was thinking he was next guy to get waived if an opportunity developed. Still think the Chiefs have too many weapons to make him a fantasy point scorer, but may need to hold onto him a little longer.

He is looking great! Much better than the prior two games. Just wish he would stop getting up so quickly. I feel like he is going to get hurt somehow...
Ha I did notice that he gets up IMMEDIATELY after he is tackled. Funny quirk. He looks awesome though.

At one point the announcers were asking why Pecheco was drafted so low, 7th round. The other announcer said "I don't know".
There was a right answer and Collinsworth did not want to say it so I will extract the words from his brain.
.
"Mike, it is all because he went to Rutgers. He would be,at worse, be a second rounder if had come from Alabama."

Glowing review by NFL films guy. The guy Pop knocked on his ass is Anthony Nelson (from Iowa) 6'7", 271 pounds. As Greg (or maybe Nunzio) once said- he runs like his hair is on fire.

Baldinger is a former NFL lineman and pretty much the walking definition of a "football guy" . He is an entertaining follow, loves detailing OL blocking and hustle plays,

Politi, who I think is an all-pro level DB (that’s not a football position, the B stands for bag), would point to playing for Rutgers as why IP fell to the 7th round. On the other hand I would point to playing under the shiit show of Ash’s incompetence at RU as the reason. Yes that is on Rutgers for hiring Radar O’Rielly, but the Ash reference is needed here…he recruited DII talent AND underperformed!

He wouldn't have the worst blocking in the country if he went to Alabama. The fact he was drafted at all given our horrible offense is a testament to his ability.

Regardless, let’s just all be happy for “Pop” and his ability to help his family Fine young man and role model. Truly a story of picking one’s self by the bootstraps!

Titans are #2 vs the run allowing 90 yds/gm
No KC backs had any success - 14 total yds from 4 backs (Mahomes had 63).

Damnit I was hoping my titans wouldn't blow it

so many similarities to Saturday night.
