What's the opinion on if Church or Park cash parking would still be available at 1PM Saturday?

The medical school lots aren't that far away and you won't be taking up a primo tailgating spot just to park your car.

The Park lot won't be open until about 3pm. Parking at the church or in the private houses around the church is the best bet at 1pm.

I park at the Church and would say 1:00 arrival for an 8:00 game should be fine. The Church has several properties on Riverview Ave where they park cars. There are also PLENTY of private homes that allow parking in their yards for about $20 (the going price on Riverview Ave). One enterprising homeowner even guarantees NO BLOCKING if you park in his yard.

The only downside is after the game, you can only make a right turn on River Road. You can turn right on Hoes Lane to get to Rt 18 or you can slog your way to I-287

At that time you should be fine at the church. I always part at the house directly across the street and I would be sure she would have space available at that time.

Is the NO BLOCKING a prediction of our run and pass protection for the game? If so, park somewhere else.

Thank-you everyone for the advice and offers. If I drive I don't have to stay for the singing at the end of a 50 point blowout - the MRS REALLY likes to enjoy the ENTIRE experience. So I'm going to shoot for parking at the Church.

Setting up a feast for 50 at 8am with a song followed by eleven hours of entertaining and then staying after a football game to sing another song.

That's not tailgating, that's pledging a sorority.

Mrs Screw - I am in the yellow lot this year. How is the vibe in the blue lot so far this year? Are JP and Lester behaving themselves?

PS - I hear your group will be in Ann Arbor. Maybe we'll run into you guys out there.
