ND’s current roster looks very weak. Paul could find a spot there as a one year transfer if Shrewsbury likes him.

Why not treat Paul just as classy as he treated Rutgers and Pike this past week? Until I hear a legit story which exonerates PM for his antics, he shit all over the alums you mention above (me included) and doesn't deserve to be lauded.
How did he shit on us? He was going through NBA workouts up until May 31 basically. Then took 48 hours to announce. It's a big decision.
Paul will always be a Rutgers alum, he did his 4 years. If not for COVID he'd be out of eligibility.
4 years is a long time to spend in one place and his role was going to be impacted next year. I'm sure most of us would look for other opportunities if our role was impacted whether it was a volunteer organization or a real job.
People can be upset over someone else's life choice if they want, but I'll choose to take the high road and support Paul as he is a Rutgers alum like myself.
All the best to Paul and I hope time heals this unwarranted hate and he is greeted with a warm welcome when he returns to the RAC down the road.

It wasn't a last second defection. He could've waited til September if he really wanted to be a jerk. He went through the NBA evaluation process and decided he wasn't ready for NBA yet.
I'm embarrassed I'm even giving you the attention you crave, Paul gave 4 years (1 more than he technically had to since he graduated last year). He also is a Rutgers alum.

I liked Paul as a player probably more than most. That said, if he goes to an upper echelon Big 10 team intent on beating us, then he's been full of crap with all his love for Rutgers.
I agree. Anywhere besides a Big Ten school or if he has a reasonable justification, I can give him a golf clap, if he comes back. Otherwise, he's getting boo'ed like any other opponent.

The justification is he graduated in 3 years and still gave us an extra year. Grown men getting upset over a fellow alums decision is comical.
