Why? Philip Nelson did much worse and he is playing this year for ECU.
Corey Clement of Wisconsin did a similar thing, but he threw a a lousy punch and he got nothing-a one game suspension.

This is very true! It's damn near impossible to rent an apartment or get a decent job with a criminal record

And what if it was just a fight that the kid who had his jaw broken just happened to be on the losing end?

You shouldnt go to jail for winning a fight.
