Vegas is usually very accurate and on top of things or they don't think RU or it's home crowd are a factor....

I'll let the levels of disrespect shown here by the boys in the Nevada desert, dictate how the crowd is tomorrow.

Do I think PSU is better than Minnesota and probably Iowa right now....?? Yeah, i could probably sign off on BOTH teams not being as good as PSU, whose won 5 of 7 and could have stolen a game at Wisconsin.

But to still not gather the respect after essentially losing on a lucky 3 by Iowa, playing a solid half at MSU and then bouncing back with wins over Minnesota and Iowa on the road.....

Guess we aren't loud enough at the RAC for Vegas to hear the crowd.....hmmm

Yes, Watkins has been de-emphasized; Stevens will get his 20-25. Reaves, Bolton & Dread are solid guards but all a bit erratic. I think we matchup well there athletically with Geo, Mathis & Harper.

Wheeler has been coming on and getting more minutes. He adds another dimension as he’s lightning quick, passes and is an excellent FT shooter. The other guys seem to be more scorer/athletes. I’m not sure who will pickup that assignment but I’m guessing Geo with Kiss/Thiam/Caleb then coming in as the additional guard based on who seems to be “on”. We should be able to exploit the size differential on the offensive end since our guards rebound well.

The game may come down to how Eugene’s knee is holding up and whether we are able to contain Stevens to be closer to 20 side of the coin. We can throw Carter at him as well as some Johnson with Doorson banging vs. Watkins. Our depth should come into play. If we have our outside shots falling, we should be very tough to beat because there will be opportunities for open looks in transition.

The crowd should be into it and the RAC will be rocking tonight. Should be fun!

agree with this 100% . won't be surprised if Stevens gets to the line 15 times tonight. Carter will have trouble Ding him up without fouling.
