They just don't get it. So unbelievably pathetic.
It's you guys that don't get it. They truly believe he's innocent. Doesn't matter what pops up they will justify it away. It's like Hillary's emails. Their supporters are never going to waiver. Being shocked by it only causes you too look silly.
Not a shock but still a disgrace. The man was the most powerful public employee in the state and he did nothing but this we know.

This . I was at the Springsteen concert the other night and started chatting to the people at the tailgate next to us that had a penn state table and were big fans . Rutgers came up and the McQueary game because we were at the meadowlands . Forget joe pa, these people even defended Sandusky that McQueary really didn't know what he saw! These penn state people are out there man .
Part of my group had a penn state grad and fan and he was even in disbelief .
We are not their site: someone has to do something fairly egregious to get permanently banned here. (Over there, they'll preemptively ban people based on their postings on other sites.) Some of the posters who respond to these threads argue their case without going overboard: I'm not going to ban them because they don't agree with the general consensus on this board. But given we're in game week and 2 days away from the start of the season, I'd rather keep the talk centered on that.

Sandusky’s victims have been through enough in their lives. They shouldn’t have to endure a new round of abuse from Paterno’s apologists for pointing out Paterno could have done more to stop a monster from preying on kids.
By Paterno’s own admission before he died, he wished he would have “done more” when Mike McQueary came to him with concerns about Sandusky.
The difference between Paterno and those who continue to blindly defend him, is that he understood that. He admitted it. Instead, just like Truthers and Birthers, the Paterno apologists will never even consider the alternative.

Are you sure? The SI article didn't mention the school's involvement, but given that this story is going national I do wonder if they did will they back track...they do seem concerned about NAMBLA or others making hay, of course the victims are totally irrelevant.
Certainly will look atrocious to the judges handling all the ongoing litigation.
Hopefully we stick it to their celebration and hang another L on them.
