Stop... nothing from the seventies has been refuted and two of the witnesses have been dead for some time so they could not be refuted. The only people receiving it are Penn State's lawyer's so please let's not play that game here. Joe Paterno himself said before he died that the first time you ever heard of anything was in 2001 when we know for a fact that he heard about it in the 90s. All of it smells bad and there is no way that Sandusky started as late as he did in life and there were definitely incidents before him because pedophiles don't just start like that it's a lifelong thingMost people know my stance on this whole thing but I think you have to be careful throwing out the documents from the 70s as something to add to your opinion on how Paterno handled the McQueary incident. All of the stuff that has come out since 2011 has been hot garbage and refuted as such. Could it have merit? Sure. Does it have merit based on what we have learned once the documents were unsealed? No way.

Penn St's campus police were in charge of that 1998 investigation , with the PA DPW and in a secondary roll . The lead detective in that investigation was on the Penn St Campus Police Force.I don't believe it has ever been shown/proven that he knew of the incidents in the 90s. Are you referring to the ones that were investigated by the PA DPW and charges were not pressed?
Also, in regards to the other stuff that came out, Schiano and Bradley both refuted it. You may not believe them...and I don't necessarily...but it is total he said she said.
