As can Pickett, who has already shown can score in this conference and looks even better this season. Cam Wynter another scorer who can put up 20 in conf games as well. Did anyone watch Illinois - Cuse? Ugly game. Both teams looked bad for the 1st 25-30 minutes with the Illini leading anywhere from 8-12. Illinois then went into overdrive and crushed Cuse 73-44.

Will Jimmy B still say the B1G is overrated after going down by 29?

Purdue looks great right now..they beat a Marquette team that just crushed #3 Baylor by 26. Marquette has only lost to Purdue and Miss St(6-0). Not bad.
B1G is looking like a really strong conference. ACC looks pretty bad!
That said, no team has really looked that amazing to me. I think back to some of the great teams the last few years and don’t see that right now. Clearly it’s still early.

I do think these next 5 games are pretty critical for RU. While we can’t still make it back next year we can help setup our entire season these next few games

In the first half and early second half when Illinois was only winning 38-30 and both teams looking like crap , Hawkins was terrible. Could not handle getting the ball in the middle of the zone and made several awkward passes and turnovers.
