As for losing staff:
I feel that in most cases when a new HC arrives the old staff is sent packing
so the new guy has people around him he has had a relationship with before and trusts the way they work.
As for the players, need a quick hire so the players that are entering the portal might like the hire and decide to stay making a possible rebuild into a maintain what is there as much as possible and add new parts that should help keep the program a good one.

The Huskies might not be desperate for a QB if Austin Mack ( 4* class of 2023) is still there.

Fisch could bring Fifita if it’s him and Leipold Daniels if it’s him.

I don’t about Klieman or Campbell.

Washington needs to make a decision NOW-TODAY or it's 2024 season might just hurt it's future recruiting if they don't bring in a HC to steady the program and give the talent there and recruiting now hope that the Huskies will stay a top program.

Maybe what I'm saying looks like a panic move and waiting would bring in a better coach tomorrow than it would get today, but I feel Washington looked at the pros and cons of
those they can get and know which one is the best fit coaching-wise.
It's the finances that keeps the best of bunch still in limbo and Washington doesn't want to overpay with other quality candidates available to chose from .

Bringing Noah Fifita with him will be a big plus in keeping Washington a top program.
Would expect UofA's DC Nansen to make the move with Judd and OC Carroll heading north if he doesn't get bumped up to HC
Jimmie Dougherty is another Arizona coach (QB passing game coordinator) that will go along for the ride in my opinion

Brennan Carroll the Wildcats OC is my guess.
Won't break the bank and Arizona's offense clicked with him the OC
Barry Odom is a possibility, he had a good year as UNLV's HC in 2023 (his first year there)
Riley might want more than the UofA is willing to pay him

Washington needs to make the right choice quick. So far they're losing their OC, 8 starters on offense, along with their portal QB Rogers. On D at least 4 of their front 7. They've also lost their top '24 commit along with 2 portal commits not counting Rogers.

One heck of a bad week.

To piggyback on this post. It keeps getting worse fo them. Yesterday a 4* recruit deommitted. Also, Washington has now lost their entire starting back 4, 3 have now entered the portal and 1 is out of eligibility.
