Per twitter, another PG has committed to Missouri.

I am sure this plays into the recruitment of Blake Harris.

It might give us a better chance.

Really hoping Pikiell can close the deal on Harris. Its got to be tough navigating through these recruiting battles. The good news I think Coach and staff are very competitive but its a big offseason for this staff. I'm so happy with this group, however, we need to see big time results too.

Winning recruiting battles is a prerequisite for winning on the court because talent matters in a power conference.

It's really a three team race from the beginning.....MSU, UConn and RU.....common sense should be used by the player here, which to me is a two school race in MSU and RU....UConn has a lot of player unsettlement right now and is just going to recruit another player just as talented if not more talented next year in 2018.....if Izzo lands him, it will be because they missed out on their other guards they are targeting.

Harris is the player with Baker that would capture the lion's share of minutes early in his career, with veteran guards Sanders and Mike Williams....Harris will have a chance to exceed whatever competition is here if he performs, I'm not quite sure Harris is better than MSU's current frosh, Langford, who is very talented.

He closed with mamadou who many other teams in the area wanted. Not every kid wants to be part of a rebuild. And that's ok.. Its tough to get a full feel for someone's full recruiting capacity when you only have the beginning of their steep climb to judge.

This is the major question as to whether Coach Pike can win in the B1G.

I don't believe he can coach-up lesser players in this conference. We either recruit with the top teams or continue as a bottom feeder.
