by S-L. Mo Jabbie named to 2nd team behind a 5'6" db. Any thoughts from people that watched these H.S. guys play?

Campbell has bigtime instincts. Tough run stopper. Deserves to be 1st team.

Jabbie is incredibly hard working. I thought he was over rated last year. This year he blew up. I still do not project him to be a star because I do not thing he does any one thing at an elite level, but he is going to have a productive career. Jabbie is also a very team oriented guy, which I like about him.

What is Campbell's status? 247 has him as a hard verbal commit to Pitt, but their crystal ball says 100% Rutgers.

Their crystal ball is broken. Campbell is all flight no fight.

Campbell was always a flight risk. He was reluctant to commit, he expressed doubt when Rene committed and he was gone as though he'd been shot out of a cannon when flood was fired. I would be shocked it he flipped again. I actually do not think a chaotic blitzing defensive scheme is best for him anyway. He's a stout hard nosed run stopping safety. He isn't speedy enough to be a difference maker on the blitz, nor do I want him left to cover large zones when corners blitz.

Campbell wasn't even really wanted by Ash... Ash was only honoring his scholarship offer. Ash is the worlds best closer so if we wanted him we would have him. I know he's the worlds best closer because "Urban doesn't hire bad assistants" and "I would run through a brick wall after listening to him speak" and because he drives a Honda, showing he's down to earth and isn't flashy

What are you babbling about?

I resigned myself to losing any and all recruits as long as we could get a new coaching staff. I hate to lose Campbell but I have a lot more to be excited about losing Flood and getting a new coach. And nobody knows for sure we wouldn't have lost him with Flood. It's only winter but it feels like spring as a Rutgers football fan.

wow... sarcasm meter?

Aahhhh, a rare Floodite sighting. Always an exciting experience seeing one in the wild.

Not sure if you thought I was criticizing you, but I was actually agreeing with you when you asked if a previous poster knew what he was babbling about in his rant about Ash. -Perhaps I didn't word my post in the best way, though, (and apparently I didn't since the individual I was referring to actually gave me a "Like")...lol. -But believe me, when it came to Flood I wanted him gone. ...And I mean GONE.

No, I knew you were agreeing....I was just commenting on the other poster [thumb2]

for safeties left naked on corner blitzes, its more about their ability to read and react without hesitation, than is about speed, I saw this kid play and he is a quality safety, would love to have him
