Pikiell to Serve as Guest Studio Analyst on CBS Sports Network

It marks the third straight season that Pikiell will work as a post-season analyst for CBS Sports Network. Brent Stover, Pete Gillen, Gary Parrish and Khalid El-Amin are scheduled to join Pikiell in-studio on Thursday.

Actually, it makes a lot of sense. He's a coach from a major conference who's local to New York where the studio is broadcasting from. Hope the recruits take notice.

The best part of the interview with Mad Dog the other day was at the end where he said “I’ll be calling in next year when I have a few minutes between preparing my team for a NCAA game.” #ILikePike

I didn't see Gillen or Pikiell on the show unless they were on the 11pm wrapup.

They were both on but it might have been after 11 PM. Coach was excellent as usual and all of the other commentators showed a great deal of respect to him. He said he hopes he can be in the tournament next season and that he is heading out to do more recruiting. He showed once again his love for RU, He is our # 1 ambassador. He is the absolute best.

Pike says and does all the right things . I really think he’s going to break through here . But us Rutgers fans have been burned before . So I need to see it happen. If pike can’t do it, no up and coming coach can here.

The last 5-7 minutes of the show was an RU lovefest.

They all credited Pike for the job he has done. Gillen asked how he went from not winning 7 games in the 3 previous seasons to doing it this year.

Pike, as always, first credited his staff and then talked about the kids and how they all improved through the year.

He was also asked about the next step and he talked about the Spain trip & the practice facility
