Pitt vs PSU

Nice win for Pitt but props to psu for the comeback and to be honest they should've won if that wr hadn't dropped that bomb, i have no confidence beating them this year with what i saw today.............

Yep and you may have won if not for your QB being an interception machine. Unfortunately, the only thing that matters is the final score and whether you pull the W or the L.

Was 1986 PSU better than the U? According to the record books, yes.

Erector set or not it is one of the best venues in football.

Congrats on the research. I couldn't care less TBH. You won't build an on campus stadium because you know you can't fill it and make money from it. That's one of many reasons you'll continue to be a nothing program.

No one from Penn State is going to sing the praises of a rental NFL stadium after being to games at PSU, OSU and even UM. You should leave the city of Pittsburgh from time to time. There's actually a whole big world out there that isn't filled with IC Light and Euchre.

Aside from game results many Penn State fans said they had no idea what a great venue Heinz Field is for football games.

JoePa is gone, Penn State football is in a downward spiral and the cult has to face the fact that Penn State is now nothing more than a mid level B1G football program.

I'm sure the 40 recruits we had attending the game (including 12 from the class of 2018) enjoyed the outcome.

Nothing left to say other than PITT beat PENN STATE.

HAIL TO PITT!!!!

Heinz is an awful college football game-day experience most of the time (pro stadium and them empty yellow seats).

Tens of thousands of away fans today plus the in-state rivalry is an anomaly.

Congrats on the win though, I'm glad Pen St lost.

It's a great venue for FB games if you like playing in front of mostly empty yellow seats most games...

BTW what's Tina Sunseri doing now days? He was hilarious to watch in the Big East. Our own Gary Nova always tried to mimic him during his time on the banks and his impression of Tina was accurate enough that it was uncanny at times.

Have yet to hear a PSU fan say anything about Heinz Field.

Pretty sure most PSU fans know that PSU is a mid level B1G program and I don't believe they are in a downward spiral. A win over PITT wouldn't have changed that.

Wow, 40 recruits? I doubt more than five even have a PSU offer.

PITT did beat Penn State. You at least got that right.

Honestly, I'm hoping RU utilizes this clapping strategy. PSU needs to be able to deal with those type of things.

LOL!!!!

Pittsburgh Post Gazette had an article ("Pitt-Penn State game had all that could be asked of rivals" by Ron Cook)on Narduzzi's response to that comment by Franklin and I quote from the article:

"He (Narduzzi) didn't want to hear Penn State coach James Franklin whining about how the Pitt defense disrupted Penn State's cadence by clapping. "Just another excuse," Narduzzi said dismissively. He preferred to put the credit where it belonged, "We've got a tough football team".":sunglasses:

As Narduzzi continues to improve Pitt's recruiting (last year #31) and having over 40 Top Ranked recruits at the game (including 12 from the class of 2018) Pitt will be a force and Crying Jimmy Dominate the State knows this and so does the Cult.

The Penn State JoeBots continue to bring their cardboard JoePa's and yearn for the past but the past is gone. They now have Crying Jimmy.

HAIL TO PITT!!!!
