Am I the only one who was wondering what the heck was up with all of the play action passes? First off, the majority of our run plays to Hicks were tosses. On top of that we ran a couple of play actions on 2nd and long. Those two things combined is not going to fake the D out. I understand running play action with a QB who can stretch the field and throw it long. But why were there so many play actions called? It put our O-line in some tough situations.

How much longer does it take to fake a handoff rather than just drop back?
I don't know
Seems like just another gripe - everyone is bitter after such a loss, which is understandable

Tosses worked early but they appeared to compliment all of the bizarre bootlegs we ran.

I thought we became a finesse offense

Play action wasn't effective because the Washington State defense was playing close to the line of scrimmage and getting a pass rush on laviano.Carroo only had 4 pass completions in the game and none of them were long passes down field.
