I think he just isn’t practicing and saving his body. I bet he plays and if he breaks a couple and or scores, he will call it a career and sit.
Its certainly possible. Weve had so many practice injuries that it wouldn’t surprise me in the least.

I hope he doesn’t play. We have depth at RB and I can’t stomach it if he got hurt in this game. It would be too “Rutgers”.Its certainly possible. Weve had so many practice injuries that it wouldn’t surprise me in the least.
Plus it “disability”insurance, so if a player gets a serious injury, lets say an ACL or something similar and is not “disabled” but can’t play for 6 months to a year, will the player be covered? Guess it depends on which level of insurance is taken out?meh.. let us see what happens when it is time to pay up.. you know insurance companies
To disagree Is fine, but this is not a time for hard feelings or getting evenGood for you. I completely disagree. play or stay home. fine with the later but don't pull that BS.
The ACL will hurt draft status so the insurance should be significantPlus it “disability”insurance, so if a player gets a serious injury, lets say an ACL or something similar and is not “disabled” but can’t play for 6 months to a year, will the player be covered? You keep bringing this up, but I feel that I have read an equal number of posts supporting players who opt out.So like many other board narratives, does the "players skipping bowls are selfish, they are abandoning their teammates and NFL GM should question their commitment and consider not drafting them" finally ends when Rutgers players do the same things?
Yeah, if the coach or remaining players had an issue, then okay, he shouldn't be there. But to me it shows that the program's culture is sound. I have absolutely no problem with it.To disagree Is fine, but this is not a time for hard feelings or getting even
If Kyle wants to be there as a spectator, or semi coach, fan etc
That is absolutely ok, I think most fans are ok with it

Lewis?According to todays’s practice report on NJ.com, KM was on field but not dressed and Eric Rogers and Tyler Needham were not on the field. All the other senior players, Powell, Pierce, Longerbeam, Dixon. Miller, etc were all dressed and participated in practice.
He’s earned the right to sit out, it’s a smart business move, and in all honesty, he’d be crazy to play in this gameIn my book- KM does not have to play. He carried us here, he stayed with us after last year when I am sure he was getting approached by elites and he is on that practice field right now doing everything else possible to help our team. I bet that his belief in the young RB's that played a lot backing him up this year also helped with that decision as he knows he is not depleting our running game if he does not play.
1. You sign an NIL you play in all games including the BowlSo like many other board narratives, does the "players skipping bowls are selfish, they are abandoning their teammates and NFL GM should question their commitment and consider not drafting them" finally ends when Rutgers players do the same things?
There isn’t a policy around that is going to cover a kid who isn’t 100% an NFL projected starter for the amount of money a kid like KM could possibly lose with a major injury that ends his career.1. You sign an NIL you play in all games including the Bowl
2. High profile players can get Insurance for playing in a Bowl if they want. Wasn’t just discovered by Sanders..been around for decades.
