Football Rutgers Football set to face off against Kansas State in the 2024 Rate Bowl

A rematch from the Texas Bowl and the 2005 venue. We haven't been there since. No complaints about the opponent or venue. The date of the game is a problem but I can see a ton of Bowl Watch places all over NJ and a repeat Bowl Watch in Philadelphia.

The recent podcast touched up on food at Chase Field. Been to a couple of Diamondback games and a concert there. The food is pretty good for ballpark food. Not sure if they still allow the promo, but when we used our Chase Card at the burger place, the bill was 50% off, but we did not get the discount at another stand.

Their signature dessert is the Churro Dog, written up in the link below, along with some other decent options.

The churro dog is a warm, cinnamon churro served on a chocolate donut bun, topped with frozen yogurt, whipped cream, and drizzled with caramel and chocolate sauces. The donut bun is made of a pair of chocolate long johns. The churro dog is a fun time. Listed around $12.00, I was surprised at how big the churro dog actually was. The churro dog is a dessert that could be shared among four or five people. It was a bit difficult getting to the churro part of the dessert. There was a lot of frozen yogurt on top of it, and the churro began to harden a bit, due to the coldness of the frozen yogurt. The donut mixed with the frozen yogurt and chocolate and caramel sauces was a tasty combination. The churro was good too. Extra points for creativity. Score: 9/10.

The Insight Bowl in AZ was the best fan experience of all the bowl venues that I have attended. The pregame party was off the charts. The band Zowie Bowie had everyone rocking at the party. The band went on to a residency at one of the Vegas hotels within weeks of the our game.
The worst experience is always at the Yankee Bowl.. It is not a bowl experience at all. It is just another away game for 4 hours.
