So ... here are some names who might fit RU's needs (understanding I know nothing besides what I see in the stats - which I get from sports-reference.com) a lot of very low performers, low-end, tough to project player so far ... but some interesting names, maybe:
1) Rashad King - 6'6" G/WF from Northeastern in the CAA - 18+ ppg, 32% 3-point shooter last year, 85% FT (on 5 FT's per game), 6 rpg, 3.3 ass/g, 2.7 TO/g, 1.4 stl/g
2) Andrew Rohde - 6'6" UVA WF - OK scorer (only 9 ppg, did shoot 41% from 3 this past year (his JR year) after 26% the prior year.
3) Corey Chest - 6'8" 210 rising SO from LSU - 20 mpg as a frosh this past year, 6 ppg,. 6.6 rpg, 1.2 blocks/g - 60% FG (all inside - not outside or even mid-range game I would guess) ... I presume an athletic, defensive-minded fierce rebounder at 6'8".
4) Isaac McNeeley - here's the UVA player you want, if any ... 6'4" 2G (1-year left), 42% 3-point shooter this past year, 14 ppg, 2.7 rpg, 2-1 ass/TO ratio, 42% career 3-point shooter over 3 years ... probably a perfect supplemental piece to a Top 10-15 team, though - a sniper off the bench. A starter for a team like RU. And steeped in UVA's defensive philosophy, even if only an okay defender.
5) Joson Sanon - 6'5" G from Arizona St - rising SO, averaged 12 ppg with 37% 3-point shooting as a FR ... probably will be chased hard by a lot of teams.
There are others, all with pluses and minuses - and will be MANY more ... Tae Davis (6'9" F from ND, had been 1 year at SHU - can score, but not a 3-point shooter, nor much of a defender), Elijah Moore - 6'4" G from Syracuse - a rising SO, was a top 100 player - less accomplishment than his teammate the Forward Chir Bell - but might have more upside, and more years).
