Who chooses jersey names? Don't you have to have first and last names handed down, not just last names. So if you are Parker IV and your first name is Jamar, was your father, grandfather and great grandfather named Jamar?

And how can you put "Sr." on your jersey. Just saying you have a kid?

Sanu did that after having a son

Traditionally, yes. Middle name(s) should also match.
But some people do their own thing. Look at all George Foreman’s sons named George.

It's legal names.

When you have a child with the same name he becomes "Junior" and you become "Senior".

If Mo Sanu Jr. has a son and names him Mo Sanu, hell become Mo Sanu III legally.
And if MSIII has a son he could become MS IV and so forth.

See Sanu's IG. He specifically identifies his son as Junior.

its a bit of a weird thing with the English language, I would think that the Sr/Jr/Roman numeral designation would be more associated with the first name than the last given that it only applies based on the first name that the kid is named after.
