The SEC catches up some late in the season with the in- state matchups (Georgia vs Ga Tech, Kentucky vs Louisville,
Clemson vs South Carolina...etc...) and with many bowl games. The Big Ten plays the most.
The ACC has consistently had the worst record:

2013 7-13* (11-14 if you count the American Athletic Conference in their final season as a BCS conference)
