I had a company come out to give me an estimate, they quoted $1,250 for my house, back patio, front porch, and front sidewalk. That seems a bit steep to me, am I off base or is this the going rate? I see people on Craig's List offering services for $150-200 for just the house, so I was expecting a few hundred more for the add on's. Anyone have someone they use that you could recommend?

Buy a power washer and a ladder for about 1/3 the price and go to town, it's actually a lot of fun once you get started, so much fun that you might ask your neighbor if you can do his driveway once you're done.

Joe,

My friends company does it. If you'd like, DM on this site and I'll get you his number.

That does seem high. I just had the house and the back patio powerwashed for $300.00. I'm in Lawrenceville so don't know anyone in your area.

Dio not sure how to PM so if you could either text it to me 908-399-4100 or e-mail joseph.lanza at Hotmail.com I'd really appreciate it - thx

Powerwashing my house and back patio was about $450 earlier this spring.

If you decide to do it yourself, you're going to want to buy a rotating surface attachment for your powerwasher to clean the patio and sidewalk

A wider setting on the nozzle seems to work fine for me.

I highly recommend A+ Powerwashing:

I've used them every year for the past 20 years. They're not the cheapest, but they won't gouge you either. And they are very professional and they're careful about not messing your shrubbery, plants, etc.

Had my whole house and concrete pool patio powerwashed for about $490 last week.

I'll make you a deal. You buy a 3000 psi power washing from Home Depot for $350 and a case of Sam Summer Ales, and my kids will come over & do it for you while we drink the beer & supervise.

Honestly, this is one job you shouldn't pay for.

Where in Monmouth County?

There are guys when they see a certain zip code (or first three digits of your phone number) feel they can charge more just because...

It really is. So much so that sometimes said neighbor wants to do it himself. LOL

True.

I got better at it each time. It's a process.
Are you the Greg Schiano of power washers?
No smooth bore hookup on your power washer?
I could tell you about a great power washer guy where I live, but then I would have to tell you where I live, and I am reluctant to do that again.

Joey D's from Manalapan. Very good, depsite the crew looking like they wandered to your house from Bike Week in Daytona.
