Did this make a difference for Huskies fast start?
Is there some degree of sabotage involved?
When Huskies return to NJ can we make sure they have a "glitch" with their communication in the first half?

According to a staffer, headsets were a nightmare. With that said, the headsets don't block or tackle people.

C'mon - how would a staffer on this site know that the coaches were having communication issues during the game?

Did Ash mention that was an issue in the post game presser?

Yes. Said it was the reason for the first timeout when they were looking like they were going to go for it at 4 and 1 on their own 30.

I was sitting in the front row of 106...directly behind the cart that houses all the headset equipment. I quote the RU staff member when I say "nightmare."

Regardless. ..4th and 1 early I'm the game and on your own 30 you do not need headsets to be certain the call is PUNT. Give me a break on that one. As poorly as we played in the first quarter that was, and I hate to say this, poor coaching or communication. In those situations you have your punt team ready and especially that early on the game. Maybe the headset problem did have some affect but still let's just kick the damn football and move on.

I don't think the players on the field knew what to do, since in the past under flood they'd sometimes go for it here to come out with a surprise

Please, point out such an instance. Maybe down by 3 or 7 late in the game, yes. But beginning of the game? No coach would do such a thing.

I don't remember an exact instance, but feel like there were many times the opponents had to be on their heels because they didn't know what Flood had up his sleeve.
