Don't agree with his Administration but damn glad he supports Rutgers Athletics the way he does. Every NJ Governor should support State University Athletics, yet many don't.

He did something right. At least according to the credit agencies since they raised NJ’s credit rating twice since he has been in office.
That is pretty significant since our credit rating had been lowered basically under every administration before him going back years
Yeah on the backs of small businesses. He shut everything down, gave out oodles of money in unemployment and now small businesses are footing the bill to replenish the empty coffers. What did he do with that huge loan he had NJ take out? You know the one we didn't need since we got Federal Covid money. It sure as sh*t isn't going to help fill the unemployment coffers or small businesses.

It’s unbelievably fantastic to have a governor that supports RU like Murphy does. Anyone insinuating that his support is phony is just blind. Politics these days are so far right or left it’s impossible to be a follower of a party and be reasonable.
Has that money been allocated yet? There are competing interests but there may be some available to go to the unemployment fund
Then why are they raising unemployment contributions? I don't think they're allocating any of it to that. It'll go to some pet projects that in the end benefits no one. Murphy's stance is to make small businesses pay.
Can be freeing to let go of pent up anger or resentment ...especially concerning things beyond your control.

You’d be happy with a governor who supports Notre Dame and shafts Rutgers athletics and give them kudos for giving “tough love” to Rutgers. If they shut down some programs you would praise it as “reprioritizing resources.”
But if someone who doesn’t share your politics gets a $100MM our way - “how dare you be happy that we have a governor supporting Rutgers athletics when xyz is happening?!?!!?”

The reality is neither party cares about any of the citizens. If you think you are better off with one vs the other, then you have fallen for their propaganda. The economy has been successful and a failure under both parties.
We could have a governor that wears a Joe Pa shirt to Rutgers games and they'd love it so long as he repeated the talking points of their favorite TV network. Their team is political before RU or America or anything else.
The last time I walked into a restaurant, bar or store of any kind in NJ that wasn't loaded with people was before COVID. NJ has one of the strongest economies in America.
