"In the first half, Anthony Russo torched Allentown for 269 yards and four touchdowns, including a beautiful 58-yard bomb to Mark Webb on his team's first play from the line of scrimmage. Webb also made a beautiful diving catch in the corner of the end zone on a 28-yard pass in the second quarter.

Russo was 8-for-9 in the first half and finished 11-for-12 for 306 yards and five touchdowns"

I was at the game as my wife is a teacher at Allentown (NJ). Archbishop Wood is no joke. Those kids are big, fast, and intimidating. Russo just looked the part of a an elite qb and leader. He had great pocket presence (mainly because Allentown couldn't really break through). His throws were perfectly placed, even while mobile. They took him out shortly into the second half. The game was a blowout, 62-14 at the end of he 3rd quarter

Goodness.

He did have 2 long throws for TDs but a couple of the other TDs were 5 yd passes and 50 yd runs. Having said that I know for a fact that Guarantano could never throw those 2 deep passes the way Russo did.

Hoping we can get the WR #18 who is a 6'3 180lb junior.

Thanks for the update. What year is Webb (So., Jr. or Sr.)?

Any chance we might want to offer...and he might want to accept?

MO

He's 2017 and we've already offered. A rivals 250 4 star. I bet we will be in the mix thanks to Russo, but he already has offers: PSU, Pitt, UNC, WVU, Wake for starters.

Quick update. Todderick mentioned in the cmoment section of his latest article that he thinks we have a legit shot with Webb and that Russo is actively recruiting him.
