PSU plays Buffalo next

Buffalo hung over 50pts on Albany today. Yes, they played a small school and they are not Temple, but this may well be another great day for Rutgers fans. One can only hope they are 0-2 when we roll in.
At this point the lions are shell shocked. Hack looks like a piece of somebody's lawn he is on his back so much.
Their O line is unable to stop anyone...ten sacks???

Lance Leipold is by all accounts a VERY good coach. This is his first year at UB. He was previously head coach at D3 University of Wisconsin - Whitewater.

During his tenure at UWW he won 8 D3 championships in 9 years, finishing second the only year he didn't win. He amassed an overall record of 109 wins and 6 losses and holds the NCAA overall record for fastest 100 wins, reaching the mark in 106 games.

I would love to see the snake-oil salesman get out coached by a D3 HC with FCS level talent.

I am not so sure that will happen. This is their easiest game, if that lost that one, then all hope is lost.

Buffalo gave Ohio State a game last year in Columbus. Also, Albany is an alright FCS team, they went 7-5 last year.

That D3 coach will be in the BCS very soon if Buffalo is competitive. And yes it would be great to see State Penn in total meltdown if they lose next week lol.

It is best if Penn St. wins and comes to us 1 and 1. not 0 and 2. I would rather beat a 1 and 1 then a 0 and 2 team. I would rather lose to a 1 and 1 then a 0 and 2. Also if they come in 0 and 2 they would be madder than hell, and would

Sure - but in the scheme of things Buffalo is still a SUNY school chasing the leftovers from SU, RU etc. Khalil Mack was a black swan event for Buf. Aside from the random P5 game Buf gets each year their schedule isn't that exciting. Nobody not from Buffalo or Albany or Stony Brook really cares what either school does. A real bad Army team that lost to Yale last year beat Buffalo while scoring 47 points. Right now Fordham (probably best team in NY at the moment) would kick the shit out of Buf (and probably take out SU) and not many people care about them either.

Yet you continue to respond to them. Not sure why people even open up threads they are not interested in let alone respond to them complaining about them.

I'll always root for another BIG team to win when not playing us but since we are battling PSU for the same players, I will always root for them to lose. So excited to be going up to State College in 2 weeks, should be a great atmosphere and a great game. If we can get to Hackensack 10 times like Temple did, all the better. Nothing like a sack to get the crowd going.
