The difference will be if Pikiell can right the ship this season. Jordan’s teams just got worse and worse.
Some of you guys (you know who you are) who come on the BB infrequently stating, "Same Ol' Rutgers" don't have a _ucking clue as to what you're talking about. This team going forward plays hard and works hard. They just got beaten by a top 13 team in the nation at their house. We have some top kids coming in next year who can SHOOT. Learn a little bit about our BB before spouting off your ignorance.
Jordan lost by 50 his 3rd year but in his 2nd year RU lost to Purdue only 61-51 and 92-85 and that was a NCAA team that year
the point is you dont have to get totally housed against a great opponent, you can get yourself looking respectable at time..Purdue is a very very good team but its not like they are vintage Duke, we made them look like a national title contender tonight
Well, if there were two games where we were going to get smoked it’s this one and at MSU. Buckle up, buttercup. That one’s around the corner.
I turned off at halftime and watched the women’s game. I had a great night !

Except EJ had injuries to deal with. This is a full squad of s scholly players.
I don't think he has an offensive rebound in 3 games....or maybe 1 or 1. Needs to get back to the basics....looks like his Defense has also fell off a bit.
I agree that this loss isn’t as bad as the scores indicate. However, after the last 2 games, they need to do better.
They are better this year than they were in 2011-2012. Purdue is a top 8 team. Many knew this game would be brutal.

Doucoure was 3-4 and hit two early shots, problem is he fouls ALOT on defense, I dont think he made it to the 10 minute mark of the 2nd half before fouling out

I dont know about attendance, could go either way...its going to be one day after a snowstorm with temps in the single digits at tip off with a brutal wind chill. Are students showing up on a Friday night during break, maybe half of the section
There were a bizarre number of injuries at the end of Eddie’s tenure. Since the new staff got here we have had a tremendous run of good luck in avoiding the injury bug.
He is at 25 percent for his career – – compare to Williams and Sanders each at 29 percent for their careers — He was six of 16 last year and the coach was encouraging him to shoot more from outside the arc.
Guarantee this year will end up better than last. They've hit a rough patch, no doubt. But growth is never linear. The main problem we have little talent - obviously. But after that, we have zero low post offense. None. Nada. Zero. Zip. Zilch. Then toss in poor shooting and you have a recipe for disaster. Pike is doing what he can by stressing rebounding and defense but that only goes so far. His first real recruiting class are frosh. What do you expect?
Does Sanders really still think he's NBA material? I didn't like the fact he had to be reprimanded more than once this season. He's not Odell Beckham,lol.
