Rutgers & Purdue Men’s Basketball Postgame Press Conferences Jan. 2, 2023

12:30 for Rutgers players & coach
24:30 for Painter

Loved Painter
What they did tonight did not shock our coaching staff. We sold , and sold it and sold it. Those guys are Coming.
If we're going to war, were swinging by NJ to pick those guys up. Those guys play for keeps.

I agree with all of the above. Painter is a great listen. Gracious in defeat and very knowledgeable.

Always liked Painter, but this is as classy as a losing coach can be. He and Pike are cut from the same cloth, IMO.

painter has his sh-t together a coach. Listening to him you can understand why his Purdue teams have been so good over the years.

I love how he keeps it real but for me, he calls out individual players a bit too much. For example, everyone know who he was talking about when he said "we were supposed to go over but he went under the screens" as well as throwing a cross court hook pass out of bounds.

I prefer how Pike keeps his pressers about team and not individuals.
