How poetic Tenn get JG and We get Oden. We win already, as one kid want to prove himself and the other is hung up on himself.
BTW this young man has "SMARTS" you do not get offers from AF,GT, or Vandy if you can cut it in the class room
Welcome to Rutgers, See you in 4years on graduation day, but it better be with honors!:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Just for good measure...his ESPN Scouting Report once again:

Tylin Oden
6-5, 176 | 40: 4.68 | Class of 2016

Overall Traits
Size-Strength-Mobility
Is long, loose and lanky. Possesses outstanding height for the position, but is vastly underdeveloped from a bulk and strength standpoint. Is still growing into his frame as he can be awkwardly athletic as he continues to become more coordinated and develop body control. Is a very good athlete with initial quickness and a long, gangly stride. He is flexible, but also looks like a wild puppy when he runs - all knee caps and elbows. Is good enough to be a designated runner and with added bulk will be more of a physical runner.

Mental-Makeup
Plays both under center and out of the shotgun. Shows a good command of the offense and is primarily involved in half-field reads. There are moments where he can look very raw with a sandlot style and other times where he looks disciplined, sharp, authoritative and decisive, but is inconsistent. Is a good ball handler and he can create when things break down. Doesn't panic, just relaxes and finds a way to keep the play alive.

Accuracy
Is more accurate on underneath and intermediate timing routes than he is on deep routes. Deep ball can often be underthrown or thrown too much to the inside. Footwork is a major component here -- when he's sandlot, the ball can spray around. Whens he's disciplined and set to deliver on time he can be very sharp. Must settle in with balance, passing posture and drive off back foot to consistently hit the strikezone.

Release/Arm Strength
Possesses a loose, but quick delivery. Has a bit of a whip-like appearance, but is also very smooth. Cups the ball just a bit with his palm, but is not a pusher. His release can lengthen at times when he is trying to get some juice on the ball. Isn't a guy that just pops the ball out of his hand. Arm strength is solid. Ball loses some steam on deeper routes. There are moments where he can drive the deep dig, out or curl with power and zip and look very good.

Bottom Line
Odin is extremely raw right now, but his measurables/arm talent are attractive and there are a lot of tools to mold here. He's a bit of a project, but that is why you redshirt and develop players. Has a high ceiling for the next level.

HUGE pick up by coach Ash and staff.

Nice to have a head coach who has coached at the highest level of college football. Playing in the BIG East(best in the country) needs this type of athlete to compete...

This is a huge pickup for us. He's the guy I wanted all along. I love his quotes in the article too. Welcome TO - you are gonna love playing in this system and the system is also gonna love you!

First I've heard of him (not a recruit guru). Is he well enough known to be a Pied Piper type?
