The reason any mid-level program gives their HC a lot more money after less than a year on the job is because they know for a FACT that there is mutual interest between him and other teams.

Pitt fans should be embarrassed at
A) posting attendance numbers for their best season in years compared to numbers during an awful year for Rutgers -- and the numbers are close!
B) bragging about flipping players recruited by a coach that was fired partially because he sucked at recruiting!
Narduzzi had a great year and many here wanted him as RU coach a few years ago when we were close to firing Flood. But your arguments are laughable.

Pitt and Rutgers are comparable programs. All of this dick waving is stupid. The two teams won't even directly compete outside of a possible pinstripe bowl or something for the foreseeable future. Narduzzi has Pitt on an upward swing and right now they are a better team, but the programs are basically on par with each other. Both are obviously in the shadow of PSU.
