nothing on the from burner. We are working on several non Rutgers projects in Newark, New Brunswick, and Atlantic City. we will keep you posted we should welcome the opportunity to assist in implemntation of the master plan in New brunswick .
In Newark they are planning an Honors College Building but have not chosen a developer to date. I believe they have completed the interview process.

Is DEVCO spread more thin with Newark and Atlantic City? I don't want attention being diverted from NB.

The Ferren Deck is the one I'm waiting on...

Yeah is there any updated timeline on this? I seem to remember hearing that demolition would begin last fall but there's been no activity there the entire year from what I can tell. Even just a demo and empty lot would be better than that eyesore. Truly hideous.

There was a story about environmental remediation slowing down Ferren demo.

@Cofifa What's the plan in terms of the facade of the new academic building on college ave?
The new Academic building is a combination of Limestone on Seminary Place, Brick on the outside walls and predominately glass and limestone on the inside passage that effectively extends the Voorhese Mall from Seminary to bishop

I love the look of the new Honors College and the two academic buildings. Very nicely done! Unfortunately, I believe that the pathway between the two buildings will end at the Hurtado Health Center building, which really looks like an eyesore now (see below). Is there a plan to do anything there to provide a gateway between the new construction and the College Ave residence halls? That would be awesome.

BINGO!!!!!..your right and this also makes me crazy...we have started to lobby to move Hortado as part of the next stage of Colege Ave improvements. I sharte your vision of a greenway all the way back to Bishop house and the quads with the new building and greenway serving as a connector between two of Rutgers Historic areas

Love that idea.

Cofifa - make it happen! That would transform College Ave and bring the two most beautiful parts of the campus together.

The 2030 Master Plan shows Hurtado gone and a new health center attached to the College Ave Gym expansion. In it's place looks like a path leading to Bishop House
