This came up in another thread about Myles Johnson, but thought I'd take a look at some of our other players, too.

Johnson:
- 8th in career blocks with 126, behind Dane Miller's 162 (2009-13).
- 17th in career rebounds/game with 7.27, behind Deshawn Freeman (7.3)
- 20th all-time in single-season blocks with 56, one behind Rashod Kent with 57 in 2001-02 (and this after a shortened season - across a 31 game season at 2.55 blks/g, he'd have had about 79 for 8th all time)
- Doesn't make the single-season rebounds list, but is averaging 8.55/g. Across a full 31-game season, that would have come out to about 265 rebounds, good for 17th all time (3 behind Echenique/Hinson tied at 268)

Baker:
- 6th in career 3PA with 536, behind Jeff Greer with 555
- 6th in career Assists with 369, behind Anthony Farmer with 371
- 9th (tie) in career Steals with 142, tied with Darius Griffin and behind Kelvin Troy with 144
- 12th in career FGA with 1164, behind Roy Hinson with 1230
- 21st in career points with 1240, behind Bucky Hatchett with 1245

Young:
- Doesn't make any of the lists, but if this were a full season he'd almost certainly have shown up on the single-season steals list. He's averaging 1.7 per game.... which, across a 31 game season would have put him at about 53, which would have been good for 17th (51 would have made the top 20, and 54 would have put him at 15th)

Harper:
- Doesn't quite make the list for points, but is close with 947 total points (lowest player included on that list is Andrew Kolbasovsky with 1015. With 4 (and hopefully more) games left, he might catch that this season, but he'll certainly start climbing up the list next year.
- Again, doesn't make the list in a shortened season, but has 115 3PA over 22 games (5.23/g). Across a 31 game season, that'd be about 162, tying Douby's freshman season for 20th.

- 17th in career rebounds/game with 7.39, behind Bob Greacen with 7.44
- 16th all-time in single-season blocks with 67, behind Hamady Ndiaye (2008-09) and Chuck Weiler (1993-94) with 71

Baker:

Sadly, the final update for the season:

Johnson:
- 8th in career blocks with 138, behind Dane Miller with 162
- 17th in career rebounds/game with 7.36, behind Bob Greacen with 7.44
- 16th all-time in single-season blocks with 68, behind Hamady Ndiaye (2008-09) and Chuck Weiler (1993-94) with 71

Baker:
- 5th in career 3PA with 570, behind Geoff Billet with 642
- 5th in career Assists with 388, behind Myles Mack with 425
- 8th in career Steals with 147, behind Rick Dadika with 159
- 12th in career FGA with 1223, behind Roy Hinson with 1230
- 18th in career points with 1300, behind John Battle with 1385

Harper:
- 44th in career points with 1018 career points, behind Rick Dadika (1985-90) with 1023

So, some possibilities for next year assuming Johnson and Harper return,
- If Johnson averages his same 2.4 blocks next year, he'd finish around 6th on the all time list for career blocks. He'd need to average about 3.5 blocks/game to crack the Top 5. If he had a full season this year, he very likely would have made the Top 10 for blocks in a season.
- If Harper averages his same 14.0 ppg next year, he'd finish around 12th all time in career points. He'd also make the record book lists for 3PA, 3PM, FGA, FGM.... and might come close to cracking the list for career rebounds.

You do a nice job with this stuff. I enjoy following it. The 5th year thing is an interesting "twerk"

Yeah, at the rate he's going, Baker's going to be 2-3rd in a lot of categories after 5 years (whereas those he's passing had either 3 or 4).

Though last season was also a bit truncated, and several of the guys ahead of him had more postseason games, so will be interesting to see what the game differential ends up being.

For example, Kelvin Troy had 1458 pts in 119 games and Abdel Anderson had 1459 in 120 games. Baker has so far played 126 games and is right behind them at 1414... but by the end of this year, he'll have 140-150 games total.

It's not a record tracked in the media guide, but the only two players in the "top scorers" list that have more games played than Baker are Myles Mack (128) and Dane Miller (127). Baker will almost certainly end his career with an unassailable "most games played" mark, unless Harper comes back for another season.

Coming off a big win:

Harper:

McConnell:
- 7th (tied) in single game steals with 6 (most since Corey Sanders had 6 vs. Minnesota on 3/5/16)
- Needs 7 more steals to tie for 17th all time
- Sort of a "watch this space". On pace to make the single season steals list. He's got 30 through 14 games, and needs just 21 more over the next 17+ to tie for 19th. At his current rate, he'll do that in about 10-11 games.

Mulcahy:
- Another "watch this space". He's on pace to make the Top 20 in single season assists. Right now he has 68 after 14 games... and he needs 54 more over the next 17+ to crack that list. At his current rate, that'll take him about 12 more games.

I heard yesterday that Big Cliff leads the nation in dunks…. So there must be stat tracking dunks. Are there any historical stats for # of dunks? Big Cliff would have to be near the top for total dunks in one season for RU.

First off, it looks like you had another quote saved from another thread that you might want to clean up.

As far as dunks, though, there's nothing in the Rutgers media guide, which is what I have been comparing to.

James Bailey had 88 dunks as a sophomore, 116 as a junior and 79 as a senior. I doubt that Cliff will approach those numbers this year. Dunking was prohibited by the NCAA in Bailey’s freshman year.

Bailey had 116 dunks as a junior (I'm assuming this is made dunks, not attempted)? He was 185/342 that year..... so that means, other than those dunks, he was just 69/226 (.305)?

Looked it up, and Omoruyi has 77 dunks so far this year on 88 attempts (tied for 1st in the country). Other than his made dunks, he's 38/80 (.475)..... He's 38/69 (.551) on non-dunks

I am sorry about the record book have a giant asterik for any games above what Geo would have played if he had a normal 4 year career.

Yes, those numbers are made dunks.

Bailey in his junior year was 312/533 for .585. So his non-made dunk numbers are 193/414 for .466.

Cliff has more made dunks than I thought he had; where did you get the info on dunks made/attempted? I was trying to find it but had no luck.

I read the wrong line.... he was 185/342 his sophomore year, not his junior year. Thanks.

As for dunks: https://barttorvik.com/playerpbp.ph...t=&tvalue=&minrim=0&min2=0&min3=0&tot=0&rev=0

Looks like Omoruyi is now second.
