I think a lot of interesting parallels to college recruiting especially to Rutgers (NFL High Draft picks ~ Colleges being able to get 4 and 5-star players)
Rams really (very successfully) targeting more unheralded guys who started at lower levels in college.
Focus on players who dominated (even at the lower levels) and had to work their way up with an underdog mentality
We see this now more in college, and Rutgers going to get great players from G5 or even FCS teams.
Makes a lot of sense, especially if you cannot just spend the $ to get the "near no miss" 5-star prospect.
Maybe better to focus on the kid who got no P4 offers and excelled vs the 4-star kid who is transferring because he did not get playing time
