Does anyone know the mechanism behind how athletic department will be distributing the revenue share? Will the schools treat athletes as freelancers/1099 workers? Do they pay a collective to distribute on their behalf? Do they issue 1099s at the end of the year?
Or are the distributions treated as additional aid? Very curious how this all works.
