Last year they had 3 ....THREE world class QB's. One was being touted as AA / Heisman and he barely played a game or two. The replacement was a pjenom. An AA / Heisman candidate in his own right. Then he goes down just before the NC's.

Their 3rd string QB could start for many NFL teams NOW.

Which brings us to Rutgers....and the Rettig / Laviano debate. No matter who is selected to start the other will be in the wings ready to step in / up/.

The same is true for RB's. James rushed for 80+ yards today against a weak D opponent. However, Hicks and Martin are formidable regardless.

WR's: Carroo...is definitely first team B1G...maybe even gets 1st or 2nd team AA. But Patton, Grant, Agudosi & Tsimis all add to the mix of a fine receiving corps.

I'm not saying we're OSU. I'm not saying we won't have problems. But imo with this much talent on the O side of the ball, the "D" that will need major transfusions / rehab (metaphoically) will not be as much on the spot.

It would have been nice to have Boggs, Barnwell on D. We would have had a much stronger team. But it takes time to build the team....and hopefully the incoming frosh for '16 will realize they've got a chance to help RU make it to the next level IMMEDIATELY.
