Good for the kids to get a win before the break and there definitely were some bright spots in the last 15 minutes, albeit against an even younger (but healthy) team. Laurent sure didn't come to Rutgers to be a 4 but he showed a lot of effort. Sanders looked good in the last 15 minutes. Williams was dreadful from the floor (3-10) but was money from the line and had 10 boards. I wish that Grier would take a few more shots. Sorry, but Goode just doesn't have "it", even against FDU - 17 minutes, no shots and 1 assist. If he can't find his shots against FDU, how can Eddie spot him in the B1G other than garbage time?

And going with 3 guards ... 17 TOs against only 10 assists. Another night where the assists are non-existent and, again, that was more on the catchers than the passers. Still the "no hands" team. Assists in the previous four games -- 11 ... 7 ... 18 ...9.

Hope the kids can take care of Lowell and get to 6-7 before -- Indiana ... at Wisconsin ... at Maryland.

I am withholding my negative comments.

Despite the lack of assists I think we shared the basketball and didn't force shots. Maybe I am wrong...we started the game with a bunch of Princetonesque sets and went away from it, especially with Laurent in the game. We had the turnovers early just like in Monmouth game.
