Some highlights:

-Season ticket and parking pass pricing in 2016 has remained unchanged.

-For the 2016 season, Rutgers Athletics and R Fund launched a season ticket holder loyalty program rewarding priority points to faithful supporters based on the combined number of consecutive season ticket purchases for football and men’s and women’s basketball.

-The deadline to pay any remaining balances and increase priority points is April 30 (I don't think they are doing bonus points for purchasing early this year).

I called the office this morning with a couple of questions.... there is no benefit to renewing before the end of the year, unless you are either adding seats to your order, or want
a couple of free basketball tickets to a game....

all charges are the same as last year.

there is no bonus points due to early pay.... the deadline for at least partial payment is Feb 28

thanks for the heads up, much appreciated

Thanks for the information. No pricing increase coming off this season is a good thing. Excited about the new Coaching staff. Hopefully, we win a lot of games. Can't believe Iowa is coming into Piscataway. Should be exciting

Thanks for the info . Although we didn't make an awesome hire like Saban or Kelly , plum street and crew remain in !

Michigan, Iowa and PSU - this is why I have season tix - now we just need to win one of these
Illinois and Indiana - much more winnable than Wisconsin and Nebraska
New Mexico - yawn, but we better win
Howard - anybody want to buy my tickets so they can see the band?

yes, the schedule is a bit easier, on paper....of course you don't play the game on paper!!

and this is what is so great about the big 10, and the big 10 east in particular.....all you need is one decent cross over game and it is a great home schedule, every year

it is pretty good even without one good crossover, but it sure helps to have one.....

Don't forget the Ooh La La girls.

Here's hoping I finally get 2 tickets in the cheap seats, lol.

If not, BUMP for this info for tomorrow.

I suppose I could call my rep to ask, but how does one "upgrade" to a better section? Is that done starting tomorrow, or are assignments done/shuffled later, once the number of renewals (#fight) and tickets not renewed (#flight) are final?
2015 was my first year having season tix, so I don't know the system yet.

the first thing is to make sure you qualify donation wise for a better section....what I used to do, in both basketball and football, was to make a note on the hard copy renewal that I would like to
be moved closer to the 50 yard line....year by year they moved me a bit and now am around the 50..... if you renew on line there is probably a comment section for such a request,

if you call the ticket office they might be able to tell you what is available....about 4 years ago I added 2 seats to my order and they let me choose from a couple of locations, where the newbies
would be....possibly they could tell you what is available now, it might be worth a call.

Thanks Wheezer, Real Good info. By the way is Iowa going to be our
permanent Western team we play every year?

No, it goes home-and-home with the B1G West teams. We just had Nebraska/Wisconsin for two years, now it's Iowa/Illinois. Presumably in 2018 & 2019 it will be Northwestern and Purdue.

what are everyone expecations for season ticket sales. I think there will be a decline because one the schedule isn't as sexy as this year and some hangover from the 4-8 season. The games didn't sell out so tix were plentiful on the open market. How much of a decline is up for debate

I'm aware of the home and home, but aside from that I could swear
there is going to be one team from the east that will be matched up
against a Western team each year. Maybe not, but thought I read it somewhere.

Like this home schedule. See us winning at least 4 games and probably 5. Michigan and Iowa are going to be real trouble.

Don't sleep on New Mexico. Beat Boise on the blue turf and Air Force in Colorado Springs. Alternate two QB's, neither of whom are great passers but can run in an offense that had 3000 yards rushing. I'll be interested to see how they do against Rich Rod and Arizona in their bowl game.

Agreed. I felt there would be a decline even if we got a new HC. That's just the hangover from a 4-8 season.

That only applies to Indiana/Purdue.

best guess is a few thousand season ticket holders to start..... if we get off to a good start for the season we might get near the ticket sales overall with fans buying game by game, walk up,etc

Don't anyone dare think I say this in support of KF..but that early BIG 10 Schedule of Wisky/Nebby was not a good hand to pull heading into this thing. (not that Iowa would have been easier this year LOL but on paper going in it sure looked that way).

Here's a story on how Bob Davies has ressurected both New Mexico and his own career. Yes the do run that triple option offense that everyone here hates.

Plus there's a mention on Mike Locksley, the former head coach who went 2-26 and punched an assistant coach before getting fired. I'm still trying to figure out why some here who has problems with Rutgers hiring young coaches but who no problems if this guy went on board.
