RU just defeated Miami (FL) in baseball 17-6.

I'm sure this will go on the other sports board but this was good news for our baseball team today. We lost 3-0 on Friday and 8-4 yesterday but to get a win in Florida against one of the best teams in the nation is outstanding. We even outscored Miami in the 3 games 21-17. Miami I believe has made the college world series the last two years.

A sweet win for Rutgers. Snaps a 16-game losing streak to Miami dating back to 2011. Miami had a 5-error inning. Top of the Rutgers batting order had a big afternoon.

It was a huge win for us today. Getting a win at Miami is a confidence builder and an extra win we just don't normally get. I believe it's just a result of playing better competition in our league and learning to win games like this. We don't know how good Miami really is even with an early #17 ranking but don't minimize a win like this. It's very hard to win down south in the beginning of the season and we did it. Congrats to the team

This was a great win and it was a huge series for Harris. One thing that surprised me was that Driscoll did not pitch at that Mike Martinez did not play at all in the series. Does anyone who follows the program know if they are OK?
