Very good home slate...Army, Wagner, Stony Brook, Brown, Princeton, Maryland, OSU. I would like to see plenty of Scarlet and Black invade UDel and Hopkins on the road as well.
Great schedule love the fact that they added Brown. I have it from a pretty good source that BB called every ACC school and with the exception of Duke politely declined. Could not get the dates right for Duke.
Cali we are getting another defenseman from Around by you do you know anything about him
Hobbs needs to market RU Mens Lax as our Flagship Spring Sport, especially to students. Offer free shuttles to lax games like football and basketball from every campus, do cool halftime shows, get a Spirit Band and the Mascot for games, get the Riot Squad involved. RU Stadium can become as intimidating for lax as the RAC is for wrestling and basketball.
You should BB and see if you can play a game up there its fun and then the kids can go watch
The problem is that there are four games in February. How are you expected to get a crowd to a lax game in those temperatures.
Color me shocked that the PAC-12 hasn't gone all in on mens and women's lax. Stanford, USC, UCLA, Oregon, Arizona State, Colorado, Utah and then move Denver over would be a formidable lax conference.
Knowing how we play and how Brown plays I know what you meant, but tennis? LOLLove these ideas. Really hope we do a game before the spring game.
Great home slate. The Brown game alone will be worth the price of season tix. Strongly encourage people to buy them when the come out. If the weather is even reasonable for the Brown game, it will be like watching a tennis match. I can't wait.
For all the lack of offense our football team has, our lax squad will more than even it out. Explosive to say the least.
Very excited to see them playing UD. I live 5 min away so may bring the whole family and friends out.Very good home slate...Army, Wagner, Stony Brook, Brown, Princeton, Maryland, OSU. I would like to see plenty of Scarlet and Black invade UDel and Hopkins on the road as well.

Cali, its funny that you say that about the USC women's team as one of my students went to USC to play lacrosse and I believe she was a captain last year. She loved the school and thinks that it will be a Monster program in the future. I feel like that would happen equally quickly if they added men's especially if you could get Arizona, ASU, UCLA, Cal and Standford. Could you imagine the recruit advantage that they would have its crazy.
Suck it up?
I will check on the kid from CDM, Fam. Burke is up north and my connects there are fairly limited. Saw some video on him. What is now a typical Brecht recruit- athletic, rangy and can run. Should fit in nicely. Do you have a full list of signees?
I personally think they need to move the season back a few weeks. Start in early March and play through the first or second week of June. That might sound blasphemous not having the Final Four on MDW but I think it would grow the sport faster to have it start in March and end in early to mid June.Sorry Cali but the fan base will not grow when people have to sit in 40 degree weather to watch a lax game. I ref in that weather and it is not fun. The parents on the sidelines don't want to be there and it is their kids playing. Trying to get the parents of middle and high school kids to drive their kids to a game and sit in that weather to watch a college game is not happening. I realize that is the direction college lax is going but it is wrong. Push the start of season back to March 1 and play a game during the week and on a weekend like they did in the past.
Yes we did but it seems now like the coaches want to be like football coaches and only have one game a week to prepare for it. For Rutgers there are enough quality schools around to play mid week games. We used to start In March but also played a lot of midweek games and none of the games were on tv
RU Lax- thats is exactly why they do it they want more prep time so the pushed the year earlier because of their desire to end on Memorial day. BTW did you live on Senior St because I did but probably before you
But now they can be. Especially the B1G ones.We used to start In March but also played a lot of midweek games and none of the games were on tv
