It's definitely more than last year. How much more, I have no clue.Is 6 more than last year?
I wonder if we are funded fully for scholarships both in state and OOS for Men's TF. I agree that the sport is getting better in the B1G.Last year we only had 1 AA, Chris Mirabelli in the javelin.
Rutgers track is beginning to build a deeper roster of talent. We had 6 AA's all while Chris Mirabelli redshirted who likely would have AA'd this year. Additionally Jermaine Griffith and Izaiah Brown individually in the 400M could have AA'd this year if they were healthy (or performing at past year abilities), Brown in particular.
The future is looking good for Rutgers Track now that we're in the Big Ten; Mulqueen has done a serviceable job with limited resources but I'd like to see Hobbs bring in a younger coach in the coming years to take the program to a new level.

Yeah I was greatly impressed with the track and field venue that Indiana has from the B1Gs. Bleacher seating, lights, scoreboard, video, etc. Slowly but surely Hobbs is bringing RU kicking and screaming into what a major college athletic department should resemble all around.I don't know the current situation but when I was on the team we were not fully funded, had something like 8-10 scholarships where the max is 12.6. And like other Olympic sports the program has a real issue with facilities; our track wouldn't stand up as a quality high school venue these days.
