yeah, he ain't going anywhere. a bit of an overreaction to Ash offering a committed player. nothing new in the crazy recruiting world

I don't get why you guys act so "minor league" about this stuff. How is it a public shot to Franklin? Are you not supposed to offer verbally committed players?
I mean I understand your excitement over Ash but he's not doing anything 99% of coaches around the country aren't doing. Even Flood offered committed guys and yes, even committed PSU guys. Being excited for your new coach doesn't mean your former coach sat on his hands all day--he wasn't very effective, but I do believe he tried.
I should add that it is nice to see you guys excited for your program again though!!
Who me? What would make you think that? lol. Yes, die hard fan (and not well-liked by some of your fans). With your response, "you guys" is it safe to assume your a psu fan?

Ash will be great for you guys, just give him time to learn and grow as a head coach. It's hard when relationships are severed with the players on the team and the previous staff, expect some of the players to not be very open and trusting to a new staff but it will be up to the staff to break down those walls and get the players "all in". It seems easy to do from outside the football building but harder to accomplish within. Some of your players will have had several coaches at this point.

Don't get why going after the defensive players from PSU, their D coordinator is probably a more well known coordinator and until he leaves PSU (soon I'm sure) his defenses will be top 3 in the big ten like this year and last. Go for offensive players from PSU, they don't even have an O coordinator
Now he's flipping burgersFlood couldn't flip a finger.
Am I wrong or does it seem that Ash is going after committed Jersey kids trying to flip them? this guy and the guy from pitt are both from NJ right?

he was brutal and when he first took over I cant figure out why so many turned on GS and were in favor of him. He just did not have it I can see it I'm sure the recruits did. why are you so surprised?Geez..how bad was Flood ? I think as time goes by we're going to see a lot worse than we thought. The fact this guy was HC in the Big Ten for 2 years was a travesty (hey good Bee Gees song).

It has very little to do with Ash but rather the perception of Penn State in NJ which has been very strong.Fans are setting themselves up for disappointment expecting a flip to Rutgers so early in the Ash tenure.Fuller is another example where Rutgers has to compete with Notre Dame and Ohio State to just name two elite schools after this top NJ recruit. We're going to find out real quick what our new coach is made of. Loving this.
What will make NJ recruiting interesting is when NJ/PA kids start to realize Franklin Is a shitty coach
And yet, there are also a lot of recruits we have that loved Coach Flood.
I'm not saying he was great at recruiting but the story can be flipped either way...
I'm trying to to make this a pro Flood comment as he did Lise on a lot of high rated recruits but our top guys are pretty fond of him. Russo, Pollock, Rene etcThe proof is in the classes that committed
Everybody loves him when they were a 2 star "athlete" with offers from non P5 schools, not so much when they blew up and attracted attention from other P5 schools

I think Ash is going to kill it in recruiting but it isn't only 2 star walkons that loved Flood.

So was Temples award winning MLB...Matekevich..i think the spellings wrong but you get the idea...Pollock's offer list is pretty meh and Russo's is even worse. Let's not get carried away with the recruiting prowess of Kyle Flood. He sucked as a recruiter.
