Powerful Ohio State comes into College Avenue ranked as high as #4 in the country with a 9-3 record. With wins over Michigan, Michigan State, Indiana, Maryland, Virginia, Penn State, Kent State, Army and Arizon State they are a formidable opponent. Losses were to Missouri by 1 point, Iowa by 4 points and Virgini Tech by 1 point. As you can see we have our work cut out for us. They have been resting a few of their regulars who had small bumps and bruises at times so it will be interesting if we get their regular line up. Meet starts at noon at College Avenue gym.

Probable lineups

125 McCabe vs #6 Nathan Tomasello
133 Delvecchio vs #7 John DiJulius (he beat Del at Vegas)
141 Ashnault vs #1 Logan Stieber (beat AA 9-1 at Vegas)
149 Theobold vs Randy Languis or Hunter Stieber
157 Perrotti vs Kyle Visconti or Josh Demas (Demas is top 5 in country)
165 Visicaro vs #5 Bo Jordan (Jordan is a stud)
174 Backukas vs Dom Prezzia or Mark Martin (Martin beat Phil by 1 at Vegas)
184 Parfumi or Hrymack vs #12 Kenny Courts
197 Normandia or Camp vs #5 Kevin Snyder
285 Smith vs Ray Gordon or Nick Tavanello

This is another tall test.

Ill be at the OSU match (sold out), but can't make Navy. Hope we see Camp at both. Has he been at practice? Anyway I'm guessing probably 2 wins, 3 tops against OSUs first team. Theo, maybe Back, maybe Smith. At this point I won where Ash gets seeded for the Big10 tourny? 4 or 5? Theo moving up. Let's hope Perrotti turns it on.

Best case scenario would be wins at 149, 157 (if Demas doesn't wrestle), 174, and 285. I'll predict Theo and Smith get the only W's again, though.

Ohio State has Purdue on the 30th, us on the 1st, and Minnesota on the 6th.

So I am hoping they use all their regulars against Purdue and give a few a rest for our match to have them fresh for Minnesota.Don't get me wrong I don't want us to not have tough matches but just is no fun to sit there for a possible shut out.

thats a tough match up. hopefully the guys all have a good dual with Navy and are rested, healthy and ready to compete. should be a good warm up before the super bowl. also see that both duals will be streamed for free on RVision. thats great, the two announcers (names escape me at the moment) do a great job.

Danny Breslauer and former Rutgers Hwt. Sean DeDeyn...These guys are fantastic and 2 of the best around the country..Danny has come a long way in regards to college Wrestling.

Sean D. is the best with all the inside scoops. Danny is great too.

I would think smith would beat snyder. i would think a top 10 HWT would beat a top 10 195lber.
